Internal Assessment Deadlines

Tuesday, April 6th
A hard copy of your working bibliography with eight sources must be turned in at the beginning of class.  The bibliography must be in Turabian format.  If it is not properly formatted, it will be returned without a grade.  The assignment will then be marked down one letter grade per day until a properly formatted bibliography is turned in.  This assignment will be entered in the gradebook as one participation grade.

Friday, April 16th
A printed copy of an outline of your internal assessment must be turned in at the beginning of class.  This outline should reflect that your research has been completed or is close to being completed.  Chapter 6 of Turabian's 7th edition contains instructions for how to properly format an outline.  Your outline must be in the same format as the internal assessment (Plan of Investigation, Summary of Evidence, etc.).  If it is not properly formatted, it will be returned without a grade.  The assignment will then be marked down one letter grade per day until a properly formatted bibliography is turned in.  This assignment will be entered in the gradebook as one quiz grade.

Friday, April 30th
A printed copy of the first draft of your internal assessment must be turned in at the beginning of class.  This draft must include a cover page, each section should begin on a new page, the paper should be properly footnoted and a bibliography included.  If the draft is not properly formatted, it will be returned without a grade.  The assignment will then be marked down one letter grade per day until a properly formatted first draft is turned in.  Consult this checklist before turning in your paper on the 30th.  This assignment will be entered in the gradebook as three quiz grades.
