This episode of the PBS series Frontline explores one of the main effects of the Subprime Crisis: the failure of the banking sector in 2008. It includes lots of great interviews and explains how the U.S. Treasury, Federal Reserve, White House, and Congress acted together (although not always effectively) to try to keep the American financial system from collapse. Notice that many of the people interviewed have regrets about some of their actions.
