Mock Exam Info

If you're coming to tomorrow's mock exam, be sure to enter the cafeteria by 8:20am.  Bring several #2 pencils, pens, and about 10 sheets of lined paper.

The make-up mock exam (for band members only) will be after school on Tuesday in Ms. Root's room.  The exam begins at 3:05.  Latecomers will not be admitted.

Mock AP Exam Details

If you plan to take the Mock AP Exam this Friday, you'll have to be in the cafeteria by 8:30am.  It will take approximately 10-15 minutes to distribute materials and share instructions.  The 45-minute multiple choice section will be followed by a 10-minute break.  The exam will conclude with the 100-minute free response section.  All APGov students should be finished with the exam by 11:30.  Students will receive 4 pts. (out of 100) added on to their 3rd quarter grade for completing the mock exam.

Today you'll be playing the Redistricting Game. Try to complete missions 2, 3, and 4 on "Advanced". Missions 2 and 3 are moderately challenging and mission 4 is very challenging. Time yourself and complete the survey below about how long it took to complete the missions. Make sure you complete the survey before you log out of the computer.  By the end of this activity, you should have a new-found appreciation for the demographers and cartographers that create the boundaries of Congressional districts.
